Job Specification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Know-how of how the web works
- First hand experience and troubleshooting of Networks
- Advance level user in Linux/Unix operating system (knowledge of BSD systems is a plus)
- Knowledge and experience of Firewalls (pfSense), Mail servers, DNS, Web Hosting, Cloud computing
- MySQL replication knowledge is preferred but not required
- Monitoring of remote services – Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Security and Server hardening experience
- Knowledge of at least one virtualization technology (OpenVZ, KVM, XEN, VMware)
- Eager to learn Open Source based systems
- Ability to learn and grow
- Self learner and initiator
- Good Risk assessment qualities
- Certifications in Linux/Unix would be a plus but not required
- CCNA/CCNP good but not required
